The pick up mounted Vehicle Borne Assault System (VBAS) is a dedicated self contained vehicle system, initially designed for the world model Ford Ranger 4 x 4 single cab truck. The system is based on the equipment package as used on the armoured intervention
vehicles with most major components being inter-changeable.
The VBAS is capable of achieving
targets ranging from commercial aircraft, buses, trains and buildings. The system can be transported on the base vehicle complete with four operators (depending on base vehicle) eliminating the need for secondary support vehicles.

- Toyota Hilux
- Nissan Navara
The VBAS includes both combination ladders, a forward assault ramp, aircraft gantry and our hydrau-loc ladder turntable offering 360 degrees of potential deployment. The equipment package allows both immediate action and deliberate option capabilities with the added advantage of totally discreet vehicle movement.
The package can be specified with either a canvas cover or fibreglass hardtop and a hydraulically operated assault ramp is available as a cost option if the vehicle base is suitable.
